What to expect when you have a session at Torus Wellbeing Clinic.

All sessions are bespoke and agreed between you and the practitioner to suit your individual needs.

You will go through a holistic assessment, which explores your health history, current lifestyle, nutritional habits, exercise regime and may be asked to identify any support networks you have. You will be asked about your goals and desires for beyond of your current health status.

Practitioners work to support you to meet your health goals and to empower you through education and encouragement to implement self-care routines that can nurture and sustain you.

How many sessions will I need?

After your initial assessment, the practitioner will propose a plan including how many sessions you may need. If you agree, your sessions will begin. You will have the chance to review your progress at each session and when you have had the number of sessions recommended by your practitioner you can choose to continue if further support is needed or stop. Expect to have 4 sessions as a minimum, you may feel relief from symptoms in just one session, but the underlying causes may take longer to resolve.

In the case of chronic conditions, which may involve flare ups or triggers into acute states, it can take time for the practitioner to get to know you and how the symptoms or conditions impacts on your life. Patience is needed, as the methods used work on the principle of correcting the underlying cause, not just relieving the symptoms.

Drinking plenty of fresh water and resting will help this process pass.

Will treatment interfere with my medication?
