What is Reiki?

Reiki is a powerful, yet very nurturing form of energy healing.  Energy healing has been around for centuries and works with the energy fields around the body using a way to manage symptoms and improve general wellbeing.

This complementary approach is great for supporting any medical methods you are using and can help lessen any side affects you may be experiencing.  It can also help with the following:

  • Assisting the body to release toxins
  • Pain including arthritis
  • Accelerate healing
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Emotional support
  • Sleep disorders

What to expect from a session?

In our first session we will discuss your symptoms and past health history to help me understand your primary concerns. When you feel ready, I will ask you to lie on the therapy table, fully clothed, and ensure you are relaxed and comfortable before we begin treatment. Treatment lasts around 40 – 60 minutes and you should feel the benefits after the first session.

After your treatment we can discuss your experience and any questions you may have.  We will then work on strategies to use at home to maintain health and wellbeing.

Reiki therapy can be delivered through distant healing which is beneficial for clients who are unable to get the practice and or wish to have therapy delivered online. This does not affect the effectiveness of treatment and can be helpful, especially if you feel more relaxed in your own surroundings.
